In September 2014, No Kid Hungry Illinois awarded $10,165 in grants for the expansion of alternative school breakfast programs to 4 schools across the state. Three elementary schools and one high school plan to expand alternative models including ‘Breakfast in the Classroom’ and ‘Grab N Go’.
